As a press photographer on a national newspaper he came into contact with kings and queens, film stars and world leaders.

In 2005 Mike was invited by the Chinese government to give a series of talks to students across the whole country. A talk in Shanghai had an audience of over 3500 people. Film stars, politicians and The Royal Family have played a major part in Mike's professional life.

Mike has made countless television and radio appearances over the years; these include BBC's Going Live (four consecutive weeks), "That's Life" with Esther Rantzen, "In at the Deep End" with Chris Searle and Pebble Mill from Birmingham. ITV shows have included Richard and Judy and The Gloria Hunniford Show as well as many radio programmes.
